El encargo se concreta tras una licitación pública de anteproyectos convocada por el Municipio de El Bosque, para construir su Centro Cívico Cultural en un terreno ubicado a pasos del Edificio Consistorial. El proyecto nació para paliar el déficit de infraestructura comunal para el desarrollo de diversas actividades públicas, acercarse de esta forma a los residentes y, al mismo tiempo, consolidar el Barrio Cívico como un hito urbano en el sector. The commission was obtained after a competitive tender for preliminary projects, organized by the municipality of El Bosque, to build its Civic Cultural Centre on a site located within walking distance of the Town Hall. The project was meant to alleviate the shortage of community infrastructure for the development of several public activities, closing the distance between the authorities and the residents and at the same time, strengthening the Civic Center as an urban landmark in the area.
