El planteamiento general de este proyecto, ubicado en pleno casco histórico de Valparaíso, fue respetar la arquitectura existente de la antigua estación y sus bodegas, a nivel de placa (los dos primeros pisos) a lo largo de toda la extensión del proyecto, incorporando sobre ella dos volúmenes en un lenguaje contemporáneo de fachada de vidrio los cuales contienen oficinas, un instituto de educación y un hotel. The main approach in this project, located in the historic heart of Valparaíso, was to respect the existing architecture of the old station and its storage sheds, on the base level (first two floors) along the entire length of the project, incorporating on top of it two volumes with glass facades in contemporary language which contain offices, an educational institution and a hotel.
