La propuesta para las dependencias de la Ilustre Municipalidad de Lo Espejo –ganadora del concurso público convocado en 2005– nace de las condiciones del terreno y de la necesidad de dar identidad clara al edificio más relevante que se construiría por un buen tiempo en esta comuna de escasos recursos, situada en la periferia de Santiago. Una vez entregado el proyecto desarrollado, al municipio le tomó cinco años conseguir los fondos para poder concretar su materialización. The proposal for the premises of the Lo Espejo Municipality – winner of a public competition called for in 2005 – emerge from the site conditions and the need for a clear identity for the most important building to be constructed in this district of limited means on the outskirts of Santiago. Once the finished project was handed over, the municipal government spent 5 years raising the necessary funds to build the project.
