La propuesta se sitúa en el sistema de enseñanza del colegio y en el lugar; la arquitectura actúa como ‘borde’ o ‘frontera’ capaz de contener un trozo de paisaje donde ocurrirán actos y relaciones que, en su conjunto, constituyen el hecho educativo. A pesar del trazado de calles y avenidas y de contar con una subdivisión predial, el lugar se muestra como una superficie continua donde la naturaleza no ha sido alterada. Los cerros y colinas circundantes otorgan una espacialidad única que vale la pena destacar, conservar y poner en valor. El contorno edificado contiene casi todo el programa del colegio (salas de clases, talleres de apoyo y bibliotecas). Además contiene patios cubiertos y deja entrar el paisaje al colegio. Hay cuatro patios claramente identificados, donde el Patio de Honor contiene todos los programas comunes (Administración, Comedor y Auditorio), conecta los dos niveles del colegio y también es un gran anfiteatro con vista al valle. The proposal springs from the educational system of the school and the site; architecture acts as a ‘border’ or ‘frontier’ capable of holding a piece of landscape where acts and relationships will occur that, taken together, constitute the educational event. Despite the layout of streets and avenues and the plot subdivision, the site presents itself as a continuous surface where nature has not been altered. The surrounding hills and mounds provide a unique spatial condition, which is worth noting, preserving and enhancing. The built outline holds most of the school’s program (classrooms, supporting workshops and libraries). It also contains the covered courtyards and lets in the landscape in the school. There are four clearly identified yards, the Main Courtyard contains all the common programs (administration, cafeteria and auditorium), connects the two school levels and also serves as a great amphitheater towards the valley.

El área deportiva se ubica en lo alto del predio y tiene su propio acceso desde la calle interior y área de estacionamiento. Además se consideran senderos peatonales y pequeñas plazas que buscan colonizar el resto del predio no abordado por el esquema principal y disfrutar de una importante área verde y de parque. Se busca conservar la mayoría de la vegetación nativa, biodiversidad y geografía, apuntando a la sustentabilidad del paisajismo. The sports area is located at the high point of the site and has its own access from the inner street and parking area. Pedestrian pathways and small plazas are also proposed to colonize the part of the plot not organized by the main layout and to enjoy an important green park area. Most of the native vegetation, biodiversity and geography are preserved, aiming towards a sustainable landscaping.
