TOVP 2026 India Calendar

- Srila Prabhupada

Calendar 2026

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

MESSAGE FROM THE VICE-CHAIRMAN Dear Devotees,

Dear TOVP Donors and Supporters, Greetings from Sridham Mayapur and the entire TOVP Team. I am very pleased to provide you with the new TOVP calendar for the year 2026. The calendar theme tells the story of our incredible progress (with your help, of course) since Srila Prabhupada’s direct instruction to me in 1971, leading to the opening of the A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Legacy Museum in February, 2025. While we had originally planned to open the TOVP at the end of 2026 with a three-month-long celebration, we came to realize that the perfect moment for this grand occasion would be as an offering to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada on his

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Thank you for your continued support and seva to this most monumental ISKCON project and vision of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Fulfilling his desire is our life’s goal and purpose, and I am so grateful to you all for your sacrifices in helping to achieve that purpose. As I travel around the world fundraising, I realize that the TOVP Story, which is the theme of this calendar, is not just one which will end with the opening of the temple. That will actually be only the beginning of the story, because the real story of glory will be how many jivas will achieve the perfection of life by visiting the TOVP. The TOVP is predicted to become the Tirupati of the East , and 60

Ambarisa Dasa (Alfred Ford), great-grandson of the famous American Industrialist Henry Ford, and Chairman for the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium.

million visitors are expected annually upon its opening. Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s vision is universal and omnipresent. Krsnadas Kaviraja Goswami states in Caitanya Caritamrta that it will be preached throughout the universe. Our part here on this small earth is to establish Krishna consciousness in every town and village, and the TOVP will naturally be the fundamental source of that influence from many perspectives, direct and indirect. We have only to become instruments in that transcendental lila to participate and help bring it about. Please continue to generously support this project to its completion, and may the Lord bless you with a most prosperous and fulfilling 2026.

50 th Disappearance Anniversary in 2027. It will still be a three-month festival, but shall begin on the most auspicious day observing the tirobhava ceremony of Srila Prabhupada’s entrance into samadhi. As we approach that historic event, I hope all ISKCON devotees will contemplate the importance of this project and the profound influence it will have on the world. As our ISKCON mission is to reclaim the conditioned souls from maya and bring them back to Godhead, the TOVP will be THE major driving force in that direction. This has been predicted by Lord Nityananda, and confirmed by Srila Prabhupada and Bhaktivinoda Thakur. I thank each and every one of you for your support. Let us all continue to work in cooperation for this end. Together we can fulfill Lord Caitanya’s vision of the world sankirtana movement. May 2026 bring you further advancement in Krishna consciousness and the Lord’s seva.

TEMPLE OF THE VEDIC PLANETARIUM CALENDAR 2026

The TOVP Story 1971-2025: From Kutir to Mandir

The TOVP Story 1971-2025: From Kutir to Mandir is also the name of our official promo book of the same name up till the year 2024, available as a free flipbook to view, download and share at: www.online.flippingbook.com/view/852625144/ The calendar is, of course, an abridged form of the publication, but presents an inspiring snapshot of the milestone moments in history that defined our progress from the humble beginnings of Srila Prabhupada’s straw hut bhajan kutir to the largest modern Vedic temple in the world. As Srila Prabhupada himself said in the quote on the inside front cover, “Let them see what we were, and what we have become.” Future generations of ISKCON devotees, Vaishnavas and historians will one day look upon this project as a major step in world progress, confirming the prophetic words of Srila Prabhupada: “In the future, people will speak of the Hare Krishna movement as the organization that saved the world in its darkest hour.” The story is not over yet, and even when opened in 2027, the 50 th Disappearance Anniversary Year of Srila Prabhupada, the TOVP’s reputation will increase as a continuous story of life- changing causeless mercy upon the conditioned souls from Srila Prabhupada, our acharyas and Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. We hope you will be inspired to be part of history in the making by helping to complete the TOVP. Whether you have given a donation before or not, please go to the TOVP Seva Opportunities page and support this monumental task:
