El concepto de la propuesta es entretejer diferentes momentos históricos y las diferentes realidades materiales que estos generan a través de dos lecturas. Por una parte, una clara retícula ortogonal dirección norte-sur que orienta las canchas deportivas. Por otra, el movimiento natural del agua a través del predio origina una serie de líneas esquivas, que sortean los estadios al noreste y este, señalando puntos de acumulación natural hacia el oeste y sureste. A través de la negociación de ambas geometrías se genera una serie de nuevas directrices y una malla organizativa capaz de producir una nueva identidad para el futuro del parque. La propuesta define cuatro bandas de circulación, manejo de las aguas e intensificación programática a través del predio, conectando la nueva estación de Metro y el frente nororiente más consolidado con las áreas internas y circundantes más descuidadas hacia el sector surponiente. En sentido transversal a los recorridos se crean bandas topográficas utilizando la totalidad del material extraído dentro del predio en la excavación de la nueva línea de Metro, para producir taludes y masas vegetales que mejoran la calidad del aire para la práctica deportiva al exterior y definen galerías naturales para observar los eventos deportivos y la geografía del valle.

The concept of the proposal is to weave different historical moments and different material realities these generate through two readings. On the one hand, a clear north-south orthogonal grid that position the sports fields. On the other, the natural movement of water across the property raises a number of elusive lines, crossing through the stadiums to the northeast and east, with natural accumulation points to the west and southeast. Through the negotiation of both geometries a series of new guidelines and an organizational mesh is generated capable of producing a new identity for the future of the park. The proposal defines four bands of circulation, water management and program enhancement across the campus, connecting the new Metro station and the better established northeast sector with the inner and more neglected surrounding areas to the southwest. Topographic strips transverse to these circulations are created using all the material from the excavation of the new Metro line within the site to produce slopes and plant masses to improve air quality for outdoor sports and define natural grandstands to watch sporting events and the geography of the valley.
