Se trata de un hotel vertical. La roca, elemento base del lugar, se convierte en el sustento necesario para que el proyecto se emplace anclándose a modo de clavija, similar a una garra, generando una nueva faceta en su composición vertical. A la vez se va desplazando vertical y horizontalmente, generando una segunda piel del paisaje. El hecho de que el proyecto esté dividido en volúmenes de tres pisos cada uno permite un anclaje independiente a la roca, colgando prácticamente de ella. Finalmente, el proyecto representa el quiebre de la roca, desplegándose en la vertical, como también se extiende sutilmente en la horizontal mediante estas pasarelas precarias, como ramificación de esta rotura. El proyecto se recorre horizontalmente en los sectores de acceso y servicios, en la parte superior del terreno, para que el usuario comprenda el entorno inmediato del lugar y el paisaje del valle. A la vez existe un importante recorrido interior vertical, a través del núcleo de circulación (caja de escaleras y el ascensor), que conduce a las habitaciones. A modo de elemento articulador entre los volúmenes verticales, se ubica equidistante y proporcionalmente una placa horizontal que intercepta los dos ejes de habitaciones. En el piso inferior de cada módulo hay pasarelas ancladas a la roca, con el fin de interceptar el núcleo de circulación vertical, generando espacios que conecten exteriormente el volumen del hotel con la materialidad y espacialidad del lugar. This is a vertical hotel. Rock, the basic element of the site, becomes the necessary support to anchor the project with a series of pegs, in a claw-like manner, creating a new facet in its vertical composition. At the same time it moves vertically and horizontally, creating a second skin for the landscape. The fact that the project is divided into three-level volumes allows for an independent anchoring to the rock, virtually hanging from it. Finally, the project represents the breakdown of the rock, spreading in a vertical dimension as well as subtly extending on the horizontal by means of these precarious catwalks, a ramification of this fracture. The project is walked through horizontally at the access and service areas, on the top part of the site, so that the user may understand the immediate surroundings and the landscape of the valley. At the same time there is a significant vertical inner movement through the circulation core (stairwell and elevator) leading to the rooms. A horizontal slab lies proportionally equidistant acting as an articulating element between the vertical volumes and intercepting the two axes of rooms. On the lower level of each module catwalks are anchored to the rock in order to intercept the vertical circulation core, while creating spaces that externally connect the hotel volume with the materiality and spatiality of the site.
