Proyectando un espacio público para la integración comunal Designing a public space for community integration
Las propuestas de un dispositivo cultural itinerante y de un café literario resultaron ganadoras. La competencia fue patrocinada por la AOA.
The winners were the proposals for a traveling cultural device and a literary cafe. The competition was sponsored by the AOA.
With an increasing number of contestants, the third version of this architectural competition convened professional architects and students in two separate categories. Unlike previous versions that focused on forms of integration in housing, this time the purpose of the tender was the design of public spaces that favor community integration. The jury was headed by architect Jorge Figueroa and integrated by Bernd Haller, Marianne Balze, Yves Besancon – AOA president, Felipe Assadi, Ignacio Toro, Jorge Iglesis, Gisella Wiesner and Walter Yunge. After the ruling, the projects were presented in the 100 Showrooms exhibition.
Con un creciente número de participantes se desarrolló la tercera versión de este concurso de arquitectura que, en dos categorías, convoca a arquitectos profesionales y a estudiantes. A diferencia de las competencias anteriores, ambas centradas en formas de integración en viviendas, el llamado esta vez apuntó a proyectar espacios públicos que favorecieran la integración comunal. El jurado fue presidido por el arquitecto Jorge Figueroa e integrado por Bernd Haller, Marianne Balze, Yves Besançon –presidente de la AOA–, Felipe Assadi, Ignacio Toro, Jorge Iglesis, Gisella Wiesner y Walter Yunge. Tras el fallo, los proyectos fueron expuestos en la muestra 100 Showrooms.

Este proyecto actúa a modo de estructuras nómades del tipo circo familiar, ferias libres, parques de diversión temporales, conciertos esporádicos y teatros callejeros. Se toma la estructura del andamiaje por su ligereza temporal y sus potencialidades de montaje y manipulación física y espacial.
This project acts resembling the type of nomadic structures common in family circuses, street markets, traveling amusement parks, sporadic concerts and street theater. It embraces the structure of the temporary scaffolding for its lightness and potential for assembly, physical and spatial handling.
