YAP_Constructo 2013
El proyecto AMBIENT 35 60, del estudio chileno UMWELT, ganó el capítulo chileno del Young Architect’s Program (YAP) 2013. La obra será inaugurada en marzo en el Parque Araucano. The AMBIENT 35 60 project, by the Chilean study UMWELT, won the Chilean chapter of the Young Architect's Program (YAP), 2013. The work will be inaugurated it Parque Araucano next March. Concebido como un contenedor de obras de arte y eventos, AMBIENT 35 60 se conforma por una red de 35 marcos sensibles climáticamente instalados en un sitio de 20 x 27 m. El proyecto ganador fue escogido por un jurado internacional integrado por los arquitectos Jeannette Plaut y Marcelo Sarovic, directores de YAP_Constructo; Pedro Gadanho, curador de Arquitectura Contemporánea del MoMA; Pippo Ciorra, curador Senior de Arquitectura MAXXI; Roberto Farriol, Director del National Museum of Fine Arts, y los premios nacionales de Arquitectura Luis Izquierdo y Antonia Lehmann. Conceived as a container for artworks and events, AMBIENT 35 60 is formed by a network of 35 climatically sensitive frames installed on a 20 x 27 m site. The winning project was chosen by an international jury formed by architects Jeannette Plaut and Marcelo Sarovic, YAP_Constructo directors; Peter Gadanho, Curator of Contemporary Architecture at MoMA; Pippo Ciorra, Senior Curator of MAXXI Architecture, Roberto Farriol, Director of the National Museum of Fine Arts, and Chilean National Architecture awards Luis Izquierdo and Antonia Lehmann.
