El proyecto Aularios surge de un concurso público de anteproyectos organizado por la Universidad de Chile, cuyo objetivo fue obtener un diseño prototipo de edificio de aulas capaz de dar respuesta al creciente aumento de matrículas del campus y a la necesidad de recuperar infraestructura en cada facultad.
