Ubicado en Ñuñoa, entre Av. Grecia y las calles Capitán Ignacio Carrera Pinto, Premio Nobel y Av. José Pedro Alessandri, este proyecto consiste en un prototipo de aulario que se emplaza repetitivamente dentro del campus Juan Gómez Millas, formando un sistema de infraestructura transversal que se desarrolla en los espacios intersticiales de las facultades, integrándolas a través del espacio público del campus. Los Aularios se emplazan entonces en un circuito continuo, en concordancia con los lineamientos definidos en el Plan Maestro del recinto universitario. Siguiendo los criterios de accesibilidad universal y conectividad, las principales estrategias se centran en lograr la integración de los espacios públicos de los aularios al plano de campus, mediante la circulación continua y la conexión de diferentes niveles sin segregación. De esta manera los aularios establecen una dialéctica que en su desarrollo longitudinal devienen del plano noble del campus al primer y segundo piso (y viceversa), permitiendo la continuidad en el sentido transversal a nivel de zócalo, donde se encuentran en un patio cubierto el estar de alumnos y la cafetería.
Located in Ñuñoa, between Grecia Avenue, Capitán Ignacio Carrera Pinto, Premio Nobel and Jose Pedro Alessandri Streets, this project is the prototype for a classroom unit to be repeated within the Juan Gómez Millas campus, forming a transverse infrastructural system that unfolds in the interstitial spaces of the schools, integrating them through the public space of the campus. The Classrooms are therefore located in a continuous circuit, in accordance with the guidelines defined in the campus Master Plan. Following the criteria of universal accessibility and connectivity, the main strategies focus on achieving the integration of the classrooms public spaces to the campus ground level, by means of continuous circulations and the unsegregated connection of the different levels. Therefore the classrooms establish a certain dialectic, as in their longitudinal development they rise from the Piano Nobile of the campus on the first and second levels (and vice versa), and allow for transverse continuity on the ground level, with a covered patio that houses the student lounge and the cafeteria.
