El edificio conforma con otros una línea edificada que va de sur a norte, separando la zona de accesos vehiculares del poniente con una condición peatonal del parque al oriente, dejando así todos los edificios en primera línea, orientados hacia el parque y las vistas lejanas de los volcanes al oriente. Es condición para todos estos edificios el tener un hall central en toda su longitud, de manera que se puedan recorrer todos los interiores, que se constituyen como lugares de permanencia y encuentro, importante frente a un clima lluvioso como el de Temuco. El edificio se compone de dos volúmenes separados por este hall central. Al norponiente se ubican las salas de clases y al nororiente las oficinas de los profesores. Todas las circulaciones convergen al hall central, creándose un gran espacio de movimiento y encuentro, tanto para alumnos como para profesores. The building, along with other pre-existing ones, conforms a construction line running south to north, separating the vehicle access area to the west from the eastern pedestrian park. Therefore all the buildings are set on the first line facing the park and the distant views of volcanoes to the east. A condition for these buildings is to have a central hall throughout their length, so that all the interiors can be passed through, creating places of rest and meeting, something important in the rainy climate of Temuco. The building consists of two volumes separated by this central hall. The classrooms are located on the northwest and the teachers’ offices on the northeast. All circulations come together in the central hall, creating a great space for movement and meetings, for both students and teachers.
