Para la remodelación del Estadio Monumental se realizó un análisis de las condiciones existentes y los nuevos requerimientos del Club. Este estudio estuvo enfocado a un doble propósito: dar solución a los problemas más estructurales del funcionamiento del recinto y a generar una imagen corporativa fuerte y memorable. Para ello se desarrolló un concepto proyectual que potenciara la presencia del Monumental hacia la calle y expresara, en sus fachadas interiores y exteriores, un orden relacionado a los emblemas y colores de Colo Colo, incorporándolos en los diseños de pavimentos, pinturas de muros y elementos arquitectónicos en general. For the remodelling of the Monumental Stadium, an analysis of the existing conditions and of the new requirements of the sports club, was conducted. This study had double focus: to solve the structural problems of operation in the stadium, and to generate a strong and memorable corporative image. A design concept was developed that harnessed the presence of the Monumental towards the street and expressed, in its interior and exterior facades, an order related to the emblems and colours of the Colo Colo team, incorporating them in the design of the pavement, wall paintings and in all the architectural elements in general.
