Este trabajo muestra el desarrollo de un proyecto integral de Arquitectura del Paisaje en Calama, ubicada en el desierto de Atacama, el más árido del mundo. Debido a las extremas condiciones climáticas y a la condición de la ciudad como el oasis más importante del norte chileno, el proyecto aunó el apoyo de distintos organismos y especialistas en el tema, en una experiencia única y experimental que ha generado grandes expectativas para el futuro desarrollo paisajístico de la zona. This work illustrates the development of an integral project of landscape architecture in Calama, a city located within the most arid desert of the world, the Atacama Desert. Due to extreme climatic conditions and to the condition of being the most important oasis in Northern Chile, the project united the support of various agencies and specialists on the subject, in a unique and experimental occurrence that has generated great expectations for future landscape development of the area.
