1. Explanada elevada: el proyecto está planteado como una superficie plana que levita sobre el terreno y que enmarca las vistas hacia el valle de Santiago en una plaza de silencio donde solo se percibe la lejanía y el cielo. Dos vigas laterales controlan las vistas hacia los terrenos vecinos, eliminando el ruido visual y abstrayendo la escala a un espacio solemne y monumental. El espejo de agua en el borde poniente refleja el cielo aumentando la percepción de infinitud, a la manera del Salk Institute de Louis Kahn. Dicha plaza es de decidido carácter público y constituye el remate final como clímax del recorrido, con exposición de esculturas de diverso formato.
1. Elevated esplanade: the project presents itself as a flat surface that hovers above the ground and frames views into the valley of Santiago, in a square of silence where only the distance and the sky is perceived. Two lateral beams control the views to the neighboring plots eliminating visual noise and abstracting the scale into a solemn and monumental space. The reflecting pool on the western edge mirrors the sky increasing the perception of infinity, in the manner of Louis Kahn's Salk Institute. The square has a clear public character and is the ending, the climax of the tour, with a sculpture exhibition of different formats.
