De esta forma el diseño recurrió a un zócalo transparente que hace que el edificio parezca flotar sobre el suelo, vinculando visual y funcionalmente las dos calles entre las que se emplaza. Así se rompió la hermeticidad de la cuadra entre el parque y la ciudad, con el edificio accesible por ambos lados. El diseño del cuerpo medio, que contiene las habitaciones, propuso balcones frente a cada una. Al igual que en el entorno, se plantearon como un elemento expresivo y volumétrico, solo que no como un anexo sino como parte de la edificación. Los muros de la fachada se plegaron generando y conteniendo los balcones, y produciendo una ventana lateral que aporta luminosidad al interior. El remate del edificio nuevamente es un vacío que resuelve programáticamente una terraza-piscina.
Therefore the design conceived a transparent base that makes the building appear to float above the ground, visually and functionally linking the two streets between which it stands. With the building being accessible from both sides the solidity of the block between the park and the city is broken. The design of the main body of the hotel proposed balconies in front of each room. As in the surrounding buildings, they were presented as an expressive and volumetric element, however not as an attachment but as part of the building. The walls of the facade fold generating and containing the balconies, and creating a side window that brings light into the interior. The crown of the building is once more a void that programmatically houses a pool-terrace.
