La obra se emplaza en un terreno esquina de la Av. Vicuña Mackenna, por cuyo eje corre el metro elevado, al frente del campus de una importante universidad. El desorden del barrio no daba indicios para el partido general, y se optó por independizarse del caótico entorno formando un talud verde perimetral. The work is located on a corner plot on a stretch of Vicuña Mackenna Avenue with the elevated Metro line, and facing a major university campus. The disorder of the neighborhood provided no guideline towards a main idea and therefore the option chosen was for independence from the chaotic environment by means a perimeter green slope.
