En el centro del conjunto se diseñó un centro cívico y la plaza del encuentro social del personal, contenidos por las fábricas de pastas y cereales, y al sur por el edificio de oficinas, un volumen horizontal de formas cóncava y convexa con lamas de color rojo, simple y categórico, parece levitar sobre el agua de perímetro y cubiertas. El aparente hermetismo, herencia del molino, revela no ser tal en cuanto predominan las aperturas, transparencias y claridad de luz natural, volviendo los espacios de trabajo diáfanos y luminosos. El acero permite la gran espacialidad interior, liviandad y plasticidad formal con grandes luces, permitieron velocidad, economía de la construcción. Planchas de acero prepintado dan textura a los edificios con la luz y la sombra; sutilmente transparentes (perforados), dan una imagen de liviandad, protegen y controlan la luz, son testimonio de ligereza de la obra y nueva imagen para la empresa.
In the middle of the compound a civic center and social meeting plaza for the staff is enclosed by the pasta and cereal factories and on the south by the office building, a horizontal volume of concave and convex shapes with red strips, simple and categorical, which appears to levitate over the surrounding water and roofing. The hermetic quality inherited from the mill reveals to be only apparent as openings, transparency and the clarity of natural light predominate, turning workspaces airy and bright. Steel allows for large interior spaciousness, lightness and formal plasticity with great spans, and enabled speed and economy of construction. Prepainted steel panels give texture to the buildings with light and shadow; subtly transparent (perforated), they give an image of lightness, protect, and control the light, while showing the lightness of the building and showcasing a new image for the company.
