Dirigido por Francisco Cepeda y Álvaro Ramírez, OFArquitectos es un colectivo de arquitectura y diseño cuyos proyectos privilegian el valor de las ideas, la intervención arraigada al entorno y la claridad constructiva. Establecidos en 2009, suman experiencia en el ámbito residencial, habilitación de oficinas, edificios educacionales y espacio público. Directed by Francisco Cepeda and Álvaro Ramírez, OFArquitectos is an architecture and design col- lective whose projects favor the relevance of ideas, as well as inter- ventions that are deeply rooted in the environment and with struc- tural clarity. Founded in 2009, their experience includes housing, office habilitation, educational buildings and public spaces.
La idea surge como resultante del análisis y referentes del lugar, las bodegas de almacenaje que conforman el entorno campestre. A partir de esta premisa se concibe la casa como un volumen unitario y continuo, que a su vez se abre o se cierra a las distintas situaciones del contexto; orientación y vistas. La materialidad de la casa se soluciona en madera, tanto su estructura como la envolvente. Esta cáscara de aspecto envejecido resulta de un reciclaje de antiguas bodegas demolidas. Se reutilizan estos tablones como el nuevo vestido de una casa de campo que pareciera haber estado siempre en el lugar. The idea came as a result of the analysis and features of the location, the traditional storage warehouses that make up the country setting. From this premise the house is conceived as a unitary and continuous volume, which in turn opens or closes to the different situations of the context, exposure and views. Wood is the chosen material, both for the structure and the enclosure. The aged cladding comes from recycling old demolished warehouses. The boards are reused as the new clothing of a country house that seems to have always been in place.
