El Centro de Exposición de Artesanía Étnica está conformado por un sistema tectónico que se divide en dos lenguajes: uno es de excavación en la roca, que pretende hacer del lugar un espacio introvertido y resguardado; el otro, un lenguaje tectónico donde elementos básicos, como pilares y vigas empotradas a la roca, hablan de una apertura hacia las dos plazas de acceso. Estos dos lenguajes se unen a través de una pasarela que cuelga del sistema tectónico por sobre la excavación y que articula los lenguajes, flujos y relaciones visuales. Según el ángulo, ese espacio introvertido de exposición ofrece un atisbo de las obras expuestas e interactúa con el transeúnte. Así también van surgiendo enmarques tanto de la ciudad como de la cumbre del cerro. The Exhibition Center for Ethnic Crafts consists of a tectonic system which is divided in two languages: one is the excavation of the rock that aims to make the place an introverted and sheltered space, the other a tectonic language where basic elements, such as columns and beams fixed to the rock, speak of an opening to the two access plazas. These two languages are linked through a catwalk hanging from the tectonic system over the excavation and that articulates the languages, circulation flows and visual relationships. Depending on the angle, this introverted exhibition space offers a glimpse of the exhibits and interacts with the passers-by. In this manner framed views both the city and the summit of the hill also emerge.
