ON THE COVER Over the last few years, Texarkana’s downtown buildings have become works of art thanks to the talent of our local artists. The newest addition to the city’s portfolio is the incredible balloon mural, by Jes Weiner, on the corner of Third and Main Streets. This mylar balloon mural trend was first painted by Stockholm, Sweden artist, Daniel Fahlstrom and has been the inspiration for other mural artists such as Jessica Haas (@jessicakhaas) and Tino Ortega (@ortegtino). These fun murals can be found across the USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Austin and now Texarkana!
