RETAINED INTEREST Unless otherwise stated in the sale book or announced from the sale block, a 50% semen interest will be retained by the sellers on each bull selling. The buyer receives full possession and full control of the bull (including salvage value). At some time in the future, if semen sales become a possibility (as many bulls are “discovered” as older bulls), the buyer and seller will share in semen sales on that bull. This semen interest transfers along with the bull should you sell the bull at a future date.
