Chamber Announces Staff Promotions We are proud to announce the promotion of Kali Aldrich to Senior Director, Membership & Communications at the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.
In this role, Kali will guide the Chamber’s membership and assist with communication strategies, working closely with her team to elevate engagement, strengthen relationships, and deliver meaningful value to members and the broader Rochester community. Kali’s dedication and passion will play a key role in ensuring the Chamber remains a trusted partner and strong advocate for local businesses. This promotion recognizes her contributions that she will continue to provide as the Chamber advances its mission of supporting business success and fostering a vibrant, thriving community.

Jonathon Krull has been promoted to Vice President, Public Affairs for the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. Krull joined the Chamber in April of 2022 as Public Affairs and Leadership Development Director and has since significantly expanded the organization’s advocacy efforts. During his tenure, he has led the creation and growth of several initiatives and events, including the Candidate Training Program, The Advocate newsletter, Day at the Capitol, Linking Leaders and Industry, and Leadership Forward, a LGR alumni program. His strategic leadership has strengthened the Chamber’s visibility and effectiveness at the local, state, and federal levels. Through intentional relationship building between the business community and elected officials, the Chamber has elevated its influence and impact on key policy issues affecting the Rochester region. In his new role, Krull will continue to oversee Leadership Greater Rochester while leading the Chamber’s advocacy efforts. Sophia van Oss has been promoted to Vice President, Communications for the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. During her time at the Chamber, Sophia has created several new initiatives that support members and our community, including the Shop Local - Holiday Gift Guide and the Rochester Area Community Guide & Chamber Directory. She also developed a comprehensive media kit and added website advertising opportunities to help expand digital options for members. Sophia has also supported the branding and design of key Chamber events and publications, including Chamber Champions League, Annual Celebration, Advantage magazine, the Chamber Resource Campaign Sponsorship Guide, and the Chamber website. In addition, she has contributed to highlighting the Chamber’s strategic plan progress and looks forward to continuing that work in partnership with the team.
