Ronald McDonald House Family Room ® Opens in Mayo Clinic Hospital
Ronald McDonald House Southeastern MN & Western WI continues to strengthen family-centered care in the Rochester community with the addition of a new Ronald McDonald House Family Room®, located in Mayo Clinic Hospital — Saint Marys Campus near Mayo Children's. Designed to support families directly inside the hospital setting, the Family Room will provide a welcoming space where parents and caregivers can rest, recharge, and remain close to their child during medical treatment. The new space will include three private sleep rooms, access to showers and laundry facilities, and nutrition services, all within the hospital. These resources help ease the physical and emotional strain families face during long and uncertain days. Alongside the organization’s residential Ronald McDonald House, this expansion reflects an ongoing commitment to keeping families together and reducing stress during some of life’s most difficult moments, made possible through strong community partnerships and local support.
