If coming from the west it is simply a U-turn off of the interstate right into the ranch. If coming from the east, take a right off of the interstate and go through the underpass and take the first right turn into the ranch. Trucking: We will offer a $200 delivery credit per bull, if they are picked up the day of the sale. We offer free delivery within 30 days up to 300 miles OR BUYER can pick up at seller’s ranch after 30 days. Consignors will feed bulls from 30-75 days of the sale with the buyer to arrange delivery after 30 days. Internet Bidding: This sale will be broadcast through DVAuction with internet bidding available. See graphic to register. Bidding: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. Any disputes will be settled by the auctioneer in charge. His decision is final. Payment Terms: Payment in full is due at time of sale. Buyer’s Risk: Bulls are at buyers’ risk immediately after the sale. Animals will be cared for as agreed, but at the purchaser’s risk as to loss or injury. Breeding Guarantee: Breeding age bulls sell with semen test. Bulls are guaranteed to be breeders the first breeding season. We need to be notified after the first breeding season in writing if there is a problem. The seller shall have six months to prove said animal or at mutual agreement to replace the animal. At no time shall the seller be liable for more than the purchase price of the animal. We will replace with a like animal or give full credit in next year’s sale for the difference between purchase price and the salvage price of the animal. Catalog Changes: Any changes from information printed in this catalog will be available in supplement data sale day or announced from the auction block at the time the animal is sold and such announcements shall take precedence. Liability: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and the management assumes no liability, legal or otherwise, for their safety or behavior of the animals.
Insurance: Elm Creek Ranch will offer to pay 100% of the insurance premium for mortality insurance (comprehensive risk coverage is available at an additional charge to buyer) for bulls purchased at the sale at a sales price of $15,000 or higher; 75% of the insurance premium on bulls purchased at $10,000 or higher and 50% of bulls purchased with a price over $5,000 of Elm Creek bulls on the date of the sale. Elm Creek Salers Herd Health: All cattle in this sale are in excellent condition and health. Elm Creek Ranch bulls will have had their breeding soundness exam and have been semen tested prior to sale date and will be ready for breeding. Feist Salers Health: All cattle in this sale are in excellent condition and health. Feist Salers Ranch bulls will have had their breeding soundness exam and have been semen tested prior to sale date and will be ready for breeding. Retained Interest: On a few of these bulls, the seller has retained semen interest as indicated in the footnotes of their lot data. Selling “full possession and one-half semen interest” means that the seller is retaining a 50% revenue sharing interest and the right to use semen on the bull in herd. Sales from semen will be split between buyer and seller after deducting costs. Semen collection will be done before delivery and at the buyer’s convenience if applicable in the future.
