VICTIM SERVICE AWARD
The Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office awarded Corporal John Reyna with the Victim Service Award. This award recognizes individuals for their outstanding investigative efforts and compassion for victims of crime. Corporal Reyna showed great dedication and service in the past year while investigating violent crimes in the City of Lompoc, particularly the Victor Deluna homicide. The Lompoc Police Department is proud of Corporal Reyna and would like to congratulate him on receiving this prestigious award. Detective Sergeant Vincent Magallon was recognized for his exemplary performance and awarded the prestigious H. Thomas Guerry Award. According to Chief Kevin Martin, Lompoc Police Sergeant Vincent Magallon “instills peace and confidence among his team” through his exceptional leadership and innovative crime-solving abilities. “Beyond his investigative successes, Sergeant Magallon’s commitment to mentorship has been instrumental in nurturing future leaders within the department,” Chief Martin stated. “His influence reaches far beyond immediate case results, playing a crucial role in the professional development and ethical formation of emerging officers. Officer Andreasen was honored with the MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Award, marking his 21st recognition from the organization. This achievement serves as a testament to his steadfast commitment to combating impaired driving and promoting road safety.
