Lompoc Police Department 2024 Annual Report

JANUARY

The Lompoc Police Department officially promoted two officers to the rank of Corporal. Michael Miller and Stephen Pena were sworn in during a ceremony held at Lompoc City Hall, where Chief Kevin Martin and the City Clerk administered the oath of office in the presence of their families and friends. Corporal Miller has been with the Lompoc Police Department since 2012, during which he has held several positions, including patrol officer, school resource officer (SRO), explorer advisor, detective, and field training officer (FTO). He is also an active member of the Crisis Negotiation Team and the Peer Support Team. Corporal Stephen Pena has served as a police officer for the City of Lompoc for six years. Throughout his career, he has worked as a patrol officer and SRO, while also fulfilling roles as an FTO, SWAT team member, and firearms instructor. CORPORAL PROMOTIONS
