Retired Dispatch Supervisor Kim Berry Kim served with the Lompoc Police Department from 04/27/1987 to 12/18/2015 as a Police Dispatcher. She retired from her service as the Dispatch Supervisor. EOW: 06/05/2024 Retired Dispatcher Wanda Rios Wanda worked at the local Lompoc Record before becoming a dispatcher for the Lompoc Police Department in 1975. She worked for the police department for 20 years EOW: 11/07/2024 Retired Officer Ernest Hutchinson Ernest “Ernie” Hutchinson was an officer with the Lompoc Police Department for eight years. After that, he worked for the Santa Barbara County Housing Authority. Ernie was very active in the Lompoc Community, including being a past president of the Lions Club, a Board member of the Local American Legion Chapter, and a member of the Lompoc Elks Lodge. EOW: 03/10/2024 Retired Agent Delbert BUD Trimble Bud Trimble was the Department’s Youth Services Officer and founder of the Lompoc Police Department’s Police Explorer Program.He was involved in many outreach programs at the Lompoc Schools. Many of the Police Explorers mentored by Bud Trimble went on to careers in Law Enforcement. EOW: 03/10/2024 Retired Sergeant John Andrew Coday John Graduated from Lompoc HS in 1965, attended Allan Hancock College, and then joined the Marine Corps in 1966 and obtained the rank of Sergeant. In 1969 he joined the SB Sheriff’s Department and then in 1970, he joined the Lompoc Police Department, where he retired at the rank of Sergeant EOW: 02/03/2024
