ESCAPE FROM RABBIT ISLAND Birmingham Business Assurance alumnus, Daniel Chimes, has been doing something a little different to his day job and has written a children’s book – The Adventures of Captain Carrot and Brave Broccoli: Escape FromRabbit Island.
The book tells the story of heroes, Captain Carrot and Brave Broccoli, finding
themselves on an island of hungry rabbits and must find a way to escape before they are turned into dinner! The book is the first in a series of exciting adventures – watch out for future adventures!

Daniel is a Senior Management Accountant at Convergence Group having joined them in March earlier this year.
I'm extremely grateful to all who shared their insights, joys, frustrations and enthusiasms about the sector, both in the writing of this book and over my years working in the weird and wonderful corners of the charity sector.
Sarah is chief executive of the national cycling charity Cycling UK and vice chair of the Nationwide Foundation grant-making charity. Sarah has worked in the charity sector for fifteen years, initially in homelessness and community projects and more recently as chief executive of Heart of the City, a charity promoting responsible business in London. Sarah has also worked in the UK civil service and in Brussels and trained as a financial auditor with BDO in Nottingham.
