Traditional Cavity Wall Construction Artstone Protection for Traditional Cavity Wall Construction has been developed to replace plastic DPC which is widely used as artstone protection, although it offers no impact resistance, the only other alternative has been home made timber profiles which are time consuming and expensive in labour and materials to produce.
Artstone Protection Ockwells have developed a number of methods of protecting vulnerable artstone and window cills which are both practical and simple to use and can be reused many times making this a very cost effective method. This protection does not need any mechanical fixings and gives a full cover protection with a high level of impact resistance. Jambs, heads, mullions and cills can be protected with a combination of foam and twinwall polypropylene protection board.
