Vitcas ® BFC is a high temperature black sealant which is resistant to 1250 o C . The sealant is used to seal the stove pipe to the stove, for small cracks and repairs to brickwork in fireplaces, heaters and boilers especially where the black colour is required to match the other components. It is also used to joint cast iron components in range cookers and stoves when they are being assembled from new or during refurbishment. The sealant adheres well to metal and ceramic components, setting hard with the heat.

The sealant swells when subjected to temperatures >125 o C and forms a charcoal barrier which resists the passage of smoke and fire. Ideal for sealing uneven gaps around pipework, door frames and window cills as well as for sealing fire protection boards and partitioning where fire rating is required. VITCAS ® CS - FIREPLACE CONSTRUCTION BOARD Vitcas ® Fireplace Construction Boards have high thermal resistance, good thermal insulation and mechanical stability. The boards are rigid and self supporting and are used to construct fireplaces and tiled stoves without additional frame work where there is no pre-existing chimney breast or around cassette stoves. Fireplace boards are easy to work and can be fixed with screws. The edges of the board can be treated with Vitcas ® BP Board Primer and sealed together with Vitcas ® BA Board Adhesive 1350 C Finishing can be by sealing with Vitcas ® BP Board Primer and skimming with Vitcas ® HB60 and Vitcas ® HRP Heat Resistant Plaster.
