Air setting refractory mortar, ready for use for trowelling and patching. Mortar forms a strong air-dried bond with all grades of refractory bricks for use up to service temperatures of 1700ºC /3100ºF Examples of Applications: Used for setting dense refractory bricks, high temperature insulation bricks and ceramic fibre blankets, boards, modules etc.

Ready mixed refractory mortar suitable for setting bricks and can be used for dipping bricks, coating and spraying. This material forms a strong air set bond with all grades of refractory bricks whether used as a joint or a render. It also has very good resistance to slag attack and it is very stable up to 1750ºC. Examples of Applications: Used in steel works and foundries where high temperatures are encountered such as setting high alumina bricks for safety linings in pouring ladles and setting bricks and purging nozzles in continuous casting tundishes.

VITCAS ® VITPLAST 45AB A refractory plastic mouldable with excellent adhesion which is primarily designed for rapid repairs to brick and monolithic linings that can be installed using pneumatic hammer or hand rammed. Rated for a service temperature of 1600ºC.
