Latin American Enterprise O ne of the most heartening- ventures of Protestantism into Latin America has been the religious empire founded by Dr. and Mrs. Harry Strachan in 1921. Today, this empire known as the Latin America Mission, includes: 1) city-wide evangelistic cam­ paigns, 2) a radio station, 3) a correspondence course, 4) a seminary, 5) a hospital, 6) an orphanage and 7) a publishing house. Headquartered in San Jose, Costa Rica, the mission is in an all- out drive to reach all of Latin America’s 173 millions. To meet this ambitious goal the mission has thrown over 300 missionaries and national workers into a spiritual battle that could well bring revival to America’s neighbors to the south.
