FUN IN THE SUN!
The Fundraising Subcommittee's Welcome BBQ & Picnic last Friday was a great success! It was great to see parents/carers, students and teachers from both campuses, and our leadership team come together for the afternoon as a community to start 2024 with such a positive vibe, welcome new families, and to raise over $900 for interschool sports uniforms. Parents Grant and Katrina cooked up a storm on the BBQ; there was bubbles and face painting by Suzi Starface for the younger students and siblings; whilst the older kids had a blast on the bungee run and bungee hoop inflatables. Thank you to Coles Mill Park Lakes, Coles Aurora Village, Woolworths Plenty Valley, Woolworths Mill Park, Woolworths South Morang Central and Woolworths Rivergum who kindly donated vouchers for the BBQ supplies; our Exec Leadership team and Dale and her admin staff for all of their support in the lead up to and assistance on the day: Kitty for helping with our marketing needs; and the parents/carers who helped out as an extra pair of hands on the day.
And lastly massive thank you to our Fundraising team of Jenny, Briohny, Katrina, Karen & Helen for all of their work and time in putting the event all together.
