God, he found Him who is the resur rection and the life and all the terrors of death and of hell were swept; eter nally away. “ For if thou shalt confess the Lord And in thine heart believe, His word is sure Thou shalt be saved.”

Many a tired, weary, burdened soul has heard the Gospel preached from Biola Hall during the past month. God has richly blessed and owned the Word to His glory, to the refreshment of His own children, and to the salvation of souls. To Him be all the praise and glory now and evermore!

BIBLE WOMEN’S WORK M rs. Lyman Stewart, Supt.— Tw enty-five W om en Giving Full Tim e to House to H ouse Personal: W ork, Bible Classes, and. Soul W inning Clubs.

gHILE the past year has been no exception in the way of hindrances and trials in our Euodia Club work, yet we

sults of the giving forth of the Word of God each week, together with the calls in the homes aggregating nearly a thousand, and the personal interviews with the girls, can never be known this side of eternity. Eighty girls came to know Jesus Christ as their personal Sa viour, and forty-seven surrendered their lives. About 2,300 tracts and 250 Testaments and Gospels were distrib uted. Some of the finest girls graduat ing from the Institute were Euodia girls, having come to the Institute through the Euodia, and many more are now planning to take the Bible course after graduating from high school. Have you a share in this great work? If not, invest today by putting it on your prayer list. “ That I may know Him” was the motto of the Lyceum-Eteri Club girls as they assembled in conference at the Pacific Palisades July third to ninth, and most sweetly and lovingly did the Holy Spirit reveal the Lord Jesus to them as they had fellowship one with the other and as, in the heart of nature, they communed with that One whom they sought to know better. People seem surprised when they hear us speak of opposition to organizing these clubs among the girls of the high schools, intermediate and grammar schools, but it is true just the same, and often the teachers of the classes go home very much discouraged when a splendid group of girls are asking for a Euodia Club and because thé pastor of (the church near the school does not realize just the nature of the work, a great door of opportunity is closed for a time at least. There is one big note of praise, how ever, when some of these dear pastors, after seeing the class in operation for a time (having secured a private home in which to meet), become real support ers of the work. In one class alone the past year there were sixteen definite conversions, and every one of these girls went into the churches in the com munity. On the first of June there was’ an en rollment of 600 girls in twenty-six classes with eleven teachers. The re
