How is it when we have a family law act and the police code of practice clearly stating that I am subjected to family violence and that the police take the matter seriously? It does not say that if you are in business with your partner that he is exempt from the law. Yet that is how I am being treated. Fobbed off with that’s a civil matter. Yes, my partner and my husband have acted unlawfully in workplace law and corporate law. But it is in the area of domestic violence but I am most placed at risk in my working life my well- being my mental health and my safety are compromised. I have the proof, I have the documents, I have photographs, I have witnesses. I N eed Help I Cannot Do This on my Own Any Longer. My partner locked me out of my accommodation and my workplace. He took over my work, my email and phone numbers. He lied to the police and the courts. I cannot get Centrelink payment because I’m prevented from accessing my own financial documents. I cannot get domestic violence support or emergency housing because I do not have a Centrelink benefit. I have been homeless for one year. When Corona lockdown happened I had nowhere to go, no public facilities, no cafes or libraries to go and work in. I did however have the luxury of a vehicle to sleep in. I have been surviving on the kindness of strangers the salvos Vinnies and Anglicare. Even though there is an IV0 in place the police Say it is a civil matter do not investigate I am homeless and destitute.
