REFRACTORY RAMMING MIXES
ALURAM SW & 80
High alumina semi-dry refractory ramming mixes. These products are supplied in a semi-dry condition with a moisture content of approximately 3% for installation by pneumatic or vibration methods although they can be hand rammed. Due to the low moisture content a very dense material can be achieved with very little shrinkage. Examples of Applications: Used in steel works as a nozzle ram in teeming ladles and launders, also as a safety lining in the bottom of ladles behind bricks.
