VITCAS ® HB10 - RAPID SETTING ADHESIVE
VITCAS ® HB10 is a rapid setting hydraulic bonded, heat resistant adhesive for use in fireplaces, stoves, tiled stoves and heat storage construction in both indoor and outdoor applications. Perfect for joining prefabricated elements or single tiles. Suitable for joining external constructions with or without air gaps. Minimal setting time makes it easier to use. Heat resistant adhesive Vitcas ® HB10 has high heat accumulation properties – especially recommended for joining fireplace elements which hold and then return the heat. Ideal for loading onto the tiles thickly.
VITCAS ® HB60 - HEAT RESISTANT ADHESIVE
VITCAS ® HB60 is a heat resistant adhesive designed for use in the construction of stoves, pizza ovens, tiled stoves and joining outdoor constructions, such as grills and fireplaces. It has a longer setting time which is easy to use and gives time to match elements. Perfect to render over the mesh used on construction boards before the application of Vitcas ® Heat Resistant Plaster. Ideal for use as a ‘dot and dab’ type adhesive with high temperature plasterboards, vermiculite boards and construction boards where the surface is not particularly flat. Heat-resistant to 750 O C
VITCAS ® HRP - HEAT RESISTANT PLASTER
Vitcas ® Heat Resistant Plaster is a high temperature smooth finishing coat for protection up o 650 O C . For use around the opening of cassette fireplaces (sometimes called hole in the wall fires) and adjacent to wood burning stoves and range cookers. Vitcas ® Heat Resistant Plaster can be used in any high temperature area where a smooth decorative finish is required. The plaster should be used in conjunction with either Vitcas ® Fireplace Render or Vitcas ® High Temperature Plasterboards.
Classed as a non-combustible material for the purpose of the building regulations, Vermiculite Insulating Cement is ideal for any area where a low density, high insulation and non-combustible material is required. It is especially useful for filling the space between firebacks and fireplaces or behind Victorian Type cast-iron fireplaces. It can also be used underneath and over the top of outdoor pizza ovens and bread ovens. The material is not for use where abrasion resistance is required. VITCAS ® VIC - VERMICULITE INSULATING CEMENT
VITCAS ® PVA - ADHESIVE SEALER
Vitcas ® PVA adhesive sealer is a high viscosity emulsion primer to be used in conjunction with Vitcas ® Heat Resistant Products especially Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive, Vitcas ® Heat Resistant Plaster and Fireplace Render etc. Should be used neat onto bricks, masonry, concrete and especially onto porous materials like ceramic tiles prior to the application of Vitcas ® Heat Resistant Materials while it is still tacky.
