CERAMIC FIBRE SEALS
CERAMIC FIBRE Ceramic Fibre is manufactured from high purity alumino-silicate materials. In order to process these fibres into textiles some form of reinforcement is always needed. Ceramic Fibres can be used at temperatures up to 1260 o C. CERAMIC LAGGING ROPE The core of the rope consists of parallel ceramic fibres contained within a ceramic fibre mesh fabric reinforced with glass fibre, stainless steel wire or inconel wire. Examples of application: Seals for kilns, furnaces, ovens, boilers and expansion joints in higher temperature applications. CERAMIC BRAIDED ROPE Rope which is braided from ceramic fibre in round or square shape. Examples of application: Door seals for ovens, furnaces, boilers and kilns in foundries, aluminium works, shipyards, power stations and petrochemical plants. CERAMIC TAPE Tapes which are braided from ceramic fibre in a range of widths and thicknesses. Examples of application: Protective insulation cover for cables and pipes. Expansion joints and high temperature seals and gaskets
