GLASS SEWING THREAD Glass fibre thread coated with PTFE. The thread can be supplied with and without stainless steel wire reinforcement for extra strength. Examples of Application: For sewing gloves, airbags, fire protection clothing, insulation covers for flues and valves and other finished textile products for high temperature use in industry.
SILICA SEWING THREAD
Kevlar fibre thread is composed of aramid yarn. The thread has the highest commercially available specific strength coupled with its outstanding resistance to chemicals, solvents, fuels, lubricants and saline. Examples of application: Used extensively in the manufacture of safety clothing. KEVLAR SEWING THREAD
Vitcas ® Silica Fibre sewing thread is manufactured from silica fibres which have high mechanical strength and are resistant up to 1400 o C. The thread exhibits excellent chemical stability resisting attack from most oils and solvents. It does not rot and is unaffected by fungi or bacteria. Examples of application: sewing safety clothing, manufacturing welding blankets and fire blankets.
