AUGUST • G-P To Invest $34M In PA Corrugated Plant Upgrade : Atlanta, Georgia based Georgia-Pacific announced that it will invest more than $34 million to upgrade its corru- gated plant in Bradford, Pennsylvania. • AICC Launches New Streaming Sites : AICC, The Inde- pendent Packaging Association, has launched two new sites, AICC NOW and Packaging University, to bring on- line information and education to its members.
• GBP Acquires Interstate Packaging : Green Bay, Wis- consin based Green Bay Packaging Inc. (GBP) an- nounced it has acquired Interstate Packaging Corp. in Albert Lea, Minnesota. • Paper Excellence To Acquire All Shares Of Resolute Stock : The Paper Excellence Group, through its whol- ly-owned subsidiary Domtar Corporation, has entered into an agreement under which Domtar will acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Resolute stock. • Natalie A. Brown Becomes 6th CEO In Mesirow’s 85-Year History : Chicago, Illinois based Mesirow an- nounced the appointment of Natalie A.
