280 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

It’s not common that someone is part of the same team for 40 years. It’s even rarer for one team to have a group of 40-plus-year associates. That’s exactly what our Jackson TN service center boasts – seven associates who have long-believed in our Winner's Circle -- taking care of Our Customers , supporting Our Associates , and securing Our Future . • David Butler, city • Sherry Davis, administrative leader • Tony Moore, city Jackson TN Boasts Seven Associates With 40+ Years OF Experience Bobby – who spent nine years as a city driver before moving to shuttle – says success in Jackson and throughout our company has been predicated on hiring the best people. “We’ve got good people,” says Bobby, whose son Bobby Jr. is a preventive maintenance associate at Jackson. “You just tell them what needs to be done, and they know how to do it. I’m proud to work with everybody here. We’ve turned over through the years with retirements, and other people have stepped in. And we always seem to get good people. Averitt knows how to pick them.” Jackson TN Service Center Director KYLE JUAN says his associates' longevity is a testament to who they are as people. “Achieving this milestone speaks volumes about this group's character and resilience, and also about the strength of the company they've helped shape,” Kyle says. “These aren't just long careers; they've all invested those years into helping build something bigger than any individual: a community of kind, consistent people who always have each other's backs. We are all very fortunate to have the opportunity to continue learning from them and to continue working alongside them.” ‘TEAM EFFORT FROM THE GET-GO’ Sherry says she knew from the start that Averitt was going to be the right fit for her. “It was a team effort from the get-go,” Sherry explains. “It’s one of those • Michael Smith, shuttle • Steve Vanstory, shuttle • Bobby White Sr., shuttle • Michael Wilson, city HIRING THE BEST

things where if you’re happy, why go somewhere else?” Sherry adds that she has enjoyed the ongoing growth process of Averitt in the transportation industry. “I tell everybody I was BC – before computers,” Sherry says with a laugh. “There have been a lot of changes since then. The growth of Averitt tells you it’s a good place to be. And we’ve been like family. I know all their kids, they know all my kids, and I know their grandkids. You couldn’t ask for a better bunch of folks to work with. That means a lot if you enjoy your job, don’t mind getting up and going to work, and you’ve got a smile on your face when you get home.” ROLLING IN STYLE Meanwhile, Bobby knew working at Averitt would be his long-term career once he saw our equipment. “I had driven junk before I came to Averitt,” Bobby jokes. “Boy, I got into an Averitt truck, and I said, ‘This is the deal here.’ I’ve been in a new truck every two or three years since. The one I’ve got now, I absolutely love it. I’m happy with it, and I guess it’s happy with me.” Bobby plans to retire soon to help take care of his wife. But in the meantime, he’s enjoying delivering outstanding service while keeping his truck tidy. “I’ve got a good city partner who helps me take care of it,” he says. “I’m a fanatic about keeping my truck clean – outside and inside.” Kyle is thankful he’s got such an experienced group that understands our culture and our commitment to excellence. “You just can't measure the kind of value that walks in the door with someone who's been here for four decades,” he says. Thank you to our Jackson associates for everything you’ve brought to our team through the years. Because of your example, we look forward to building on that standard for years to come! T m

New Ocala Facility Planned For End Of 2025 MOVING FORWARD IN FLORIDA An important way we can secure our future is by making strategic moves now regarding our facilities investments. That’s why we announced in 2024 our plans for a new facility in Ocala, FL. The construction process is underway, and we plan for the doors to open at the end of this year. RAPID GROWTH The Ocala metro area is one of the fastest growing in Florida, making this new facility a logical fit for our future. “We also wanted to add more capacity in the state while relieving some pressure from both Jacksonville and Orlando,” explains Vice President of Operations LARRY MASON . “This facility will get our resources closer to a fast-growing market, which will improve service to our customers. It's all part of our strategic growth in Florida to keep moving more freight in and out of the South." BY THE NUMBERS The Ocala service center will feature:

Site work gets underway at our new service center in Ocala, FL. The new facility is strategically located as part of our plans for continued growth in the Sunshine State.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION Not only is Ocala a prime market in north central Florida, but our service center will be in a prime position, making it a win-win for the rest of our network. "Our facility will also be right off I-75 in a very good location,” Larry says. “That will help with loads coming out of Atlanta going to South Florida.” We’re excited to see what the future holds for our new Florida facility, and we also look forward to seeing its positive impact on our entire team. It’s all about making the right moves for Our Customers, Our Associates and Our Future ! T m

‘JUST RAISE YOUR HAND AND ASK’

Service Center Directors Share Growth Stories

SHARING THE STORY Isaiah came to Averitt in 2014 as a Truckload student driver, and he served in that role until 2015 when he took advantage of an opportunity to become a frontline leader in Fort Myers. In 2018, Isaiah was promoted to service center director there. He stayed in that role until the start of this year, when he moved to Orlando to step in for the retired BOB BRUNS . That growth story is something Isaiah has shared with many of his associates. “The fortunate thing is my story is not unique. It’s what we do,” Isaiah explains. “There are so many stories out there of people who raised their hand and wanted to do something a little bit different, whether they wanted to get out of the truck or off the dock and into leadership.” ‘LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES’ Additionally, Isaiah says stories like his and many others can give us a leg up when it comes to hiring the best. “When people hear us talk about how we Promote From Within, they want to know if it’s true,” he says. “That’s a question I get more than anything, and it creates a great opportunity to share my story and other stories. It’s super impactful, because if associates come in and they’re coachable and consistent, the sky is the limit.” For now, Isaiah is getting acclimated to his new position in Orlando. He’s also open to whatever the future may hold for his Averitt career. “My main goal right now is to focus on the task at hand, to pay attention to details, to take care of our associates and customers, and to move our service center and company forward,” Isaiah explains. WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE Back in Fort Myers, Todd is filling Isaiah’s shoes, and he has plenty of experience that he brings to the table. In 1989, Todd started as a part-time dock associate in Charlotte while attending college. After going full time on the dock, he eventually decided to earn his CDL and served as a city driver for a couple years. From there, he transferred to dispatch and was promoted to frontline leader, where he wore a variety of hats. In 2007, Todd momentarily paused his Averitt career to work in his All throughout our network, associates have experienced how we Promote From Within. Two of the best examples now reside in Florida – Orlando Service Center Director ISAIAH WOODARD and Fort Myers Service Center Director TODD COCHRANE.

Fort Myers Service Center Director TODD COCHRANE (left) began his Averitt career as a part- time dock associate, while Orlando Service Center Director ISAIAH WOODARD (right) started as a Truckload student driver.

father’s family business. But in 2014, he got back into transportation in a city dispatch role, and in late 2020, he moved to Asheville to become service center director there. Having always been intrigued by the state of Florida and a desire to retire there, Todd took advantage of the opening at Fort Myers to make the switch. Todd says his willingness to move has been one key to his career growth. “Sometimes, that’s what it takes – to go where the opportunity is,” Todd explains. “To grow, you have to ask and be willing to do whatever it takes. Anybody in transportation knows it’s not just a 9-to-5 job. If you make those sacrifices, you can be whatever you want to be in this company.” Todd also credits his leaders with helping shape him through the years. “You’ve got to have leaders who want to help you. All my leaders have done that,” Todd says. “I was just raising my hand, whether it was getting those opportunities to drive, be a leader or switch shifts. I got a lot of experience in a lot of different areas. [Region 5 Vice President] TRAVIS WEBSTER was probably the most instrumental in helping me do that.” “As I get older, I want to see Averitt succeed when I’m gone,” he says. “I’m more of a teacher now. I want to pass on the knowledge that I've learned so other associates can be that person in the future.” Todd already has a bit of a “coaching tree” of leaders he has guided through the years – three service center directors, KYLE JUAN (Jackson TN), BRETT FOGLE (Raleigh), and LAWRENCE SLUDER (Asheville), and one operations manager, RODNEY TATE (Charlotte). Todd has some simple advice for associates regardless of where they are in their careers. “If you’re content with what you're doing, we’re happy for you,” he says. “But if you want to grow, ask for it. If associates are willing to raise their hand and say, ‘I’m interested,’ I want to see if they’re capable. We can teach the processes. You just have to have the desire. Just raise your hand and ask.” PASSING THE BATON Now, Todd is using his experience to pay it forward. As part of her role, Houston transportation sales specialist SONJA BALLENGER sees lots of people who work for competitors in our industry. And with 19 years of Averitt experience, she’s developed a keen eye for who will make a good Averitt teammate. Sonja has had four People Like You referrals get hired by Averitt, with possibly one more in the near future. One of the first things Sonja looks for in people is that they care about their image. “Everyone doesn’t have the uniforms that we have,” Sonja explains. “So if you come across a driver who takes it upon himself to look neat, you can see he cares. If he cares about his uniform, he’s going to care about his vehicle. And if he cares about his vehicle, he’s going to care about his customers’ products.” People who want to get referred by Sonja must also have a strong work ethic. “I don’t want to put myself out there and have someone show up who’s not performing at the level I know they can,” Sonja says. “I’ve had family members or friends come up to me and say, ‘My kid needs a job.’ I recently went through that, but I thought, ‘This is not going to be a good fit for us.’ I want to help. That’s what I like to do. But I have to be able to help bring on the right people.” One of Sonja’s referrals was fellow Houston transportation sales specialist LACENIA CALLOWAY . When you have people of the same interests and who are like-minded, it makes the team flow better. Averitt is a solid company, and I look for solid people.” Sonja’s preferred referral tool is our InsideAveritt.com form. She also keeps some referral cards on hand because they feature helpful information she can share with potential teammates. “You just want to bring people in who can adapt to our culture,” she says. “I want people to see what I see and feel what I feel with Averitt.” Thank you, Sonja, for keeping our culture strong for the future! LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

CRACKER BARREL PUTS FAITH IN OUR TEAM The way you deliver outstanding service to our customers makes a difference, and it’s something that keeps us strong for the future. Cracker Barrel recently showed its appreciation for our efforts by awarding us additional business! As part of the renewal, our driving force of about 40 associates will deliver retail goods to Cracker Barrel stores. Additionally, Cracker Barrel will use our Averitt Enterprise transportation management system, making it a Power of One solution. “We have a long-standing, 20-plus-year relationship that’s built on trust,” says Dedicated Director of Operations CLINT EDEN . “Cracker Barrel is kind of a marquee account in Dedicated and certainly one of the top partnerships we have in the company. This partnership also generates more opportunities for our associates because it adds more freight into our network." BY OUR POWERS COMBINED... One aspect that makes us unique is the multiple service solutions we offer. That came in handy last fall and winter for our Cracker Barrel account.

To see what Cracker Barrel has to say about their partnership with our team, visit InsideAveritt.com/CrackerBarrel

The account normally features about 40 drivers, but during a period of increased demand, several of our On Tour Logistics drivers were able to chip in during what would normally be the off-season for the production and events industry. The result was a seamless transition that built Cracker Barrel’s trust in us even more. “The dedication of our associates is the reason we’ve earned this renewal,” Clint says. “That’s what the Power of One looks like in practice. It’s why our relationship with Cracker Barrel remains strong and will continue to be for years to come.” T m

The holidays tend to be a prime time for associates to volunteer their time and effort for the ongoing Team Up Community Challenge . But in the last several weeks, you’ve shown us how you’re making a difference all year long! We’ve received lots of pictures of your Team Up events. The projects have run the gamut, from volunteering at local food banks and Special Olympics competitions, to a March of Dimes walk, a highway cleanup day and recognition for police dispatch teams. We want to say thank you for sending us your pictures, and keep them coming! Remember to send your photos and Team Up details to TeamUp@Averitt.com . You can also learn more about the Team Up Community Challenge and see a photo gallery at InsideAveritt.com/TeamUp . T m TEAMING UP Making A Difference All Year Long

Several of our Greensboro teammates recently volunteered for a March of Dimes event as part of our Team Up Community Challenge.

SERVING UP A NEW HOBBY Scoring Points On And Off The Court Nashville city driver KYLE HENDERSON always enjoyed being active, but a move to Florida served up something new – pickleball. “I was walking the dog one day and stumbled across some courts,” Kyle says. “I figured I’d give it a try. Once I did, I was hooked.”

GEAR FOR THE GAME With his new paddles and portable net, Kyle can bring the game with him wherever he goes, inviting family and friends to join the fun. His Red Thinkin’ Rewards points didn’t just buy equipment – they helped fuel a passion that keeps him active, competitive and connected. For Kyle, Red Thinkin’ Rewards isn’t just about the prizes – it’s about turning points into opportunities. Whether it’s furnishing a home, taking care of family or gearing up for your next big hobby, every point you earn has the power to make a difference. We’re proud to support Kyle and associates like you in living your passions. Your stories inspire us to keep growing the Red Thinkin’ Rewards program to serve you even better. Ready to start your own winning streak? Check out the full catalog at InsideAveritt.com/Rewards . T m

When he returned to Tennessee, Kyle wanted to keep playing – but he needed the right gear. That’s when he turned to our Red Thinkin’ Rewards program to help him stay in the game. BIG POINTS, BIG PLAYS Thanks to safe driving and milestone achievements, Kyle had saved up about 45,000- 50,000 Red Thinkin’ Rewards points. He put them to great use, picking out two Franklin Pro Tour paddles – along with a portable pickleball net. Kyle’s strong start in the city fleet also helped him boost his balance even more.

“When I first came over to city, I was doing a pretty good job with all the different routes as a flex driver,” Kyle shares. “Erica in dispatch actually threw me some extra points because she said she appreciated the effort and positive attitude.” Nashville associate KYLE HENDERSON takes a swing with the new pickleball paddle he got by using Red Thinkin' Rewards points.
