SPECIAL RULES 1. An entry consists of four (4) hens of any breed. Hens must be entered in the poultry show (regardless of breed). An entry may be owned by a single youth exhibitor or a 4-H club. Exhibitors are to clearly identify the cages of egg laying participants and include the 4-H club name should the entry be a combination of exhibitors from a single 4-H club. Please fill out a separate entry form, including the club name, for all club entries. 2. The winning entry will be based on the total eggs laid between 9:00 AM, Thursday, June 22rd and 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 24 th . 3. Egg Laying Hens are to be checked-in Tuesday, June 20 between 9 AM and 11 AM and must first pass the Poultry Health Inspection before delivery to the Small Animals Department. 4. All eggs become property of the Alameda County Fair.
