Jump Heights and Measuring Dogs (Dogs will be measured as a part of registration.) Dog’s Height Jump Height 10” or less 4” Over 10” to 12” 8” Over 12” to 18” 12” Over 18” to 22” 16” Over 22” 20” **Dogs are permitted to jump + or ̶ one jump height of the listed heights above, with 4” being the minimum allowable jump height and 20” being the maximum allowable jump height.

CLASS

Standard Class Standard Class may consist of jumps, open tunnels, dog walk, teeter, A-frame, pause table, and six weaves. Dogs must enter and exit the ring on leash. Standard course time is 75 seconds. Maximum time is 120 seconds. 1. On-Lead Level (Specify Jump Height on Entry Form – awards will be given for each jump height) a. On lead (handler must hold lead at all times except when dog is in the tunnel) b. Dogs must be a willing participant. Handlers must not use the lead to make the dog perform the obstacle. A major point deduction will be taken per occurrence for using the lead to make the dog perform c. The handler should avoid stepping on the lead to regain control of the lead. o A-Frame o Dog Walk o Open Tunnel(s) o Jumps 2. Off Lead Level I (Specify Jump Height on Entry Form – awards will be given for each jump height) a. Judged the same as On-Lead but dogs complete the obstacles without a leash. b. Dogs must be under control while in the ring c. A total of 10 obstacles are to be used and may include: d. Teams can skip obstacles but will receive a MAJOR deduction e. No more than 10 obstacles are to be used and may include:

o A-Frame o Dog Walk o Open Tunnel(s) o Jumps o Tire Jump
