6.1 Confidentiality and Nondisclosure of Trade Secrets As a condition of employment, CREA, LLC employees are required to protect the confidentiality of Company trade secrets, proprietary information, and confidential commercially-sensitive information (i.e., financial or sales records/reports, marketing or business strategies/plans, client lists, etc.) related to the Company. Access to this information should be limited to a "need to know" basis and should not be used for personal benefit, disclosed, or released without prior authorization from management. If you have information that leads you to suspect that employees are sharing such information in violation of this policy and/or competitors are obtaining such information, you are required to inform your manager or Human Resources. Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination, and may subject the violator to civil liability. For further information, see the CREA Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy accessible via the Company Policy Center in Paylocity's Self Service Portal. 6.2 Client, Visitor & Vendor Relations CREA, LLC strives to provide the best products and services possible to our clients. Our clients support this business and generate your wages. You are expected to treat every client and visitor with the utmost respect and courtesy during your working time. You should never argue or act in a disrespectful manner towards a visitor or client during your working time. If you are having problems with a client or visitor, notify your manager immediately. If a client or visitor voices a suggestion, complaint, or concern regarding our services, inform your manager or a member of management. Lastly, make every effort to be prompt in following up on client or visitor requests. Positive client and visitor relations will protect our reputation as a leader in our field. 6.3 Personal Appearance CREA takes a more casual approach to the daily work attire, where jeans and casual wear are welcome and acceptable, as clients are not frequently present in our offices. When clients are scheduled to be present in our offices, a representative of the Company will let employees know prior to their visit and ask Employees to dress business-appropriate for that day. The Company, in accordance with applicable law, will reasonably accommodate employees with disabilities or religious beliefs that make it difficult for them to comply fully with the personal appearance policy unless doing so would impose an undue hardship on the Company. Contact your manager to request a reasonable accommodation. 6.4 Fraternization Employees who become involved in a romantic relationship during the course of their employment with CREA shall disclose the same to the appropriate supervisor or the Chief Human Resource Officer. Employees may, at the Company's discretion, be transferred or reassigned to avoid a direct or indirect supervision of one involved employee over the other. It is expected that the affected individuals will cooperate with the Company by informing the Company if such a relationship arises and in determining which employee will be transferred or reassigned to comply with this policy. If transfer or reassignment would not be adequate to avoid the direct or indirect supervision of one involved employee over the other, or would not adequately address the potential for conflict or liability, the Company reserves the right, at its discretion, to discharge one or both employees to comply with this and other Company policies. 6.5 Third Party Disclosures From time to time, CREA, LLC may become involved in news stories or potential or actual legal proceedings of various kinds. When that happens, lawyers, former employees, newspapers, law enforcement agencies, and other outside persons may contact our employees to obtain information about the incident or the actual or potential lawsuit.
If you receive such a contact, you should not speak on behalf of the Company and should refer any call
