Momase Region

MOMASE The Momase Region stretches from Vanimo on the coast of Sandaun Province (West Sepik) to south of Lae on the coast of Morobe Province. Jump on a surfboard or a fishing boat, explore riverways and forests further inland, and witness how traditions are adapting to a developing world. The beautiful Madang town shares the same name as the province. Apart from tourism, the economy depends on copra, sugar, palm oil, fisheries, timber and nickel and cobalt
