I was working at Victoria Place paying the bills whilst the shopfitters worked on the renovation, when the last $3000 disappeared out of the account. I believe ______ paid the employee ____________. ______ had begun interfering in my work and the $3000 was paid to ______ against the wage subsidy agreement. I was left in Stawell, with no money to pay the shopfitters. When I met up with shopfitters at the motel, for dinner they showed me this text that ______ had sent. Both of them were visibly upset and earlier I the day had noticed the affect one of ______ bullying phone calls had had on me. ______, I apologise that I may be putting you in a difficult situation in helping Maggie. Your work is excellent and your friendship with Maggie is highly valued. Our company is using money to pay for Maggie’s building to be restored, which I support within limits, as it must be when other business priorities are considered and major jobs are not impacted. I know Maggie is a wonderful person, but I also believe she may need some help with her health. Her estranged husband and four children are also of that belief, which with her complete denial and lack of self awareness in that area, has her at loggerheads with anyone that says she needs help. I have tried to get her to a doctor for a referral to a specialist, as have others. Her family hold a letter written by her sister decades ago, stating that she needed help before she alienated everyone around her. Maggie is in complete denial about having any problems with her health and her behaviour at times put our business and friendship at great risk. Recently she has pushed me too far in jeopardising the business and I have yelled at her for failing to perform very simple business book keeping and admin tasks, along with ignoring several big opportunities to quote, including for a $30k job, as she was focused entirely on setting up a pop up shop with VIC Place. The pop up shop idea will have very limited return capability, but she chose to fund it and not to do her part of our core business, putting 10s to 100s of thousands of dollars of potential business at risk, all for renting out VIC place infrequently and for very low return. I am sorry that you are being impacted, but I believe Maggie may have a condition that makes her occasionally have grandiose ideas, but without her proper attention on the business that provides the only income we have, any of her grandiose or logical ideas have no long term future. Her three sons are currently discussing how they might be able to get her help, as her long term friend Merryl has met with Maggie recently and informed her family that she suspected Maggie was on one of her big spend ups, which have indicated in the past she was in or heading towards another health episode. In case Maggie is informing you and everyone around her that I am being aggressive and violent towards her, please be aware that she has done the same thing with others innocent people whilst in her negative cycles of her yet to be professionally diagnosed condition. I can’t disclose specifically what I believe she is suffering from, as that would be inappropriate, but I do care for her welfare and wanted you to know that reality may be taking a little holiday at the moment in her life. If you have any doubts regarding my motives, please feel free to ask for any or all of her Son’s contact details, as they are very aware of their mother’s yet to be formally diagnosed condition and her long term behaviour, plus that she gets upset with the people around her who dare to try to get her help, often disparaging them to others rather than facing reality.
