H2R Sangria is named after the ornamental pepper known for its vibrant, upright and colorful fruits. Just like the pepper, Sangria has a colorful pedigree guaranteed to produce light to dark offspring. Her sire, H2R Valerian, was the 2023 Light Herdsire of the Year, 2023 Reserve Dark Herdsire of the Year and 2024 Reserve Herdsire of the Year Md Farm Division 2 at The Futurity. Her dam, H2R Too Hot to Touch, is a Snowmass Velvet Touche daughter, who has been a spicy and strong part of our program. Sangria’s fleece was 17.2 microns in 2024 with an SD of 3.6. Her 2025 fleece is expressing an extremely bright, long stapling, fine and uniform fiber, with a lovely handle. We are certain she will bring aesthetic appeal and quality genetics to any alpaca farm.
