Sizzlin Shak, paternal half brother to Val D Lsere, is a gorgeous roan with a gentle nature. He remains phenotypically and structurally correct with a compact build and a very dense and still lingering crimpy fleece. Shak will let you halter him in the field and he’s a reliable breeder. His production so far is more daughters than sons. Shak’s offspring very consistently exhibit the whole package of excellence: soundness, health, type, conformation, bone, proportions, density with fineness, consistency, high definition character, uniformity…did we say dense?...plenty of coverage, correct bites and even temperaments. When we purchased him, he had 22 registered offspring and 10 of the 22 placed first or better. His champion dam consistently produces show quality too. Shak progeny have also been strong sellers at auction. You’ll want to retain all his daughters and you can sell his sons as jr. herdsires... Shak is that prepotent. He passes on his best every time.
