Born during Oregon’s 2023 wildfire season, H2R Smoke Jumper is aptly named for his stunning grey color and the smoke that surrounded the ranch that summer. Sire, Snowmass Everlasting Paramount’s genetics have set breeding programs on fire across the globe. Dam, BlueGenes’ Licketty Split, is a ranch favorite and matriarch! Besides her endearing personality, Licketty’s production includes multiple grey and black offspring during her 13 birthing seasons on the farm. Her true black son, H2R Velvet Jester finally made it onto our herdsire row after his 6th fleece boasted a 21.4 micron and SD of 3.8. He became a proven winner producer after he sired H2R Makena, who won a black Reserve Color Champion banner this show season.
